The Crown, Miami Beach
The diminished state of this historical hotel, located in the heart of the Collins Waterfront Historic District in Miami, Florida, required that it be thoughtfully preserved, updated and returned to its original splendor. In this case, the challenge was to revitalize the interior lobbies on the first two floors, while following strict guidelines for preserving and restoring original characteristics of the 1940’s design. The property was being transformed from a hotel to a luxury residential rental community. The exquisite lobbies now serve as a fabulous marketing tool for potential residents who are looking for classic sophistication in the heart of the action.
